About Us
Our History
We are a part of a brotherhood of churches called The International Churches of Christ. The Cleveland Church was started in 1993 by a group of 14 visionary Disciples of Christ from our sister churches in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. Since our beginning, we have witnessed hundreds come to Christ from all around the greater Cleveland area. In 2016, many of our members joined our newest church planting in Akron, Ohio!
Our Mission
The Cleveland Church strives to fulfill Christ’s commission to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:18-20). Not only do we invite people to worship services and home-based Bible studies, but we also give sacrificially to our sister churches throughout Indonesia.
Our Members
Our members are from every background, nationality, ethnicity and walk of life with one thread in common: the Lordship of Jesus Christ. All of our members have studied the Scriptures and decided to make Jesus the Lord of their lives. We celebrate both the diversity of members and unity of purpose that we share in the Cleveland Church.
